Silver Alginate dressing is a kind of antimicrobial dressing made of synthetic polymer absorbent fibers by adding silver compound through special process.

Silver Ion Product Features
* Inhibit the properties of bacterial meanwhile no resistance will happen.
* Continuous sterilization, up to 5-7 days.
* The more exudate contacting, the more Ag+ will be released.

Silver Ion Working Principle
1.Silvers Ion dressing release Ag+ after contacting with wound exudate.
2.Ag+ bind onto the zympoprotein from bacterial cells, to inactivate it and then kill the bacterial.
3. Ag+ onto the DNA and RNA from bacterial cells and viruses, to avoid them replication.
4.Ag+ combine the metalloprotein in the wounds, to increase the concentration of Zn2+, Ca2+, Cu2+ to promote the wound healing.
